Current focus will be:

• promote the Aboriginal research agenda;
• develop research opportunities related to the Aboriginal health agenda that results in progressive and positive changes;
• research Aboriginal health information deficits;
• generate research information that is consistent with the Aboriginal health model;
• create and strengthen partnerships between Aboriginal community based organizations and mainstream research;
• ensure information is disseminated to Aboriginal community organizations.
