Policy

Current focus will be:

• respond to policy needs and priorities identified by the Aboriginal community;
• provide research information and analytical foundations upon which evidence-based decisions can be made in developing policies and programs;
• facilitate policy development that is consistent with the Aboriginal health model;
• promote clearly defined mechanisms for federal and provincial health policy development;
• develop a comprehensive data collection of health strategies and policies;
• provide analysis on legislation, organizational and government policies.
